With the presumption that many developers are better than one, we are hoping to gather a diverse group that will work together on any project any of us can bring forth.

Finding projects (clients) is also easier if we're a team.

The idea - which I like to call the Gestalt Design project - is, when someone gets a hold of a project that might be too demanding for one type of developer - designer, programmer, graphic designer, flash designer, JS or CSS or HTML coder - the project and its elements (tasks) can be proposed on MMX DESIGN using Hydra Project Management modul, to different specialists, who then bid on the proposed tasks. The project leader (who brought the job at the first place) picks the best bid for each task, and the development goes under way.
